If you would rather have someone else do the driving, you may want to consider having our friend, Eric Rockwell, show you the country. He is a dairy farmer and his family was among the original Quakers who settled the area in the early 1950s. He was raised in Monteverde in an English speaking household. Of course, he is fully bilingual. In August 1999, our daughter Carla went to the CPI language school in Monteverde. The Rockwells were her host family.
