Family owned since 2002, the founder was the General Manager of the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve. He and his wife, decided to start their own business as tourism in Monteverde start growing. Originally, they used their own home, and opened as small bed and breakfast. With the conviction of work, love and effort for their international guests. That commitment remains strong, and over the years the hotel kept growing.

Your home in Monteverde has now grown to 28 rooms, surrounded by lovely gardens. Always focused on maintaining a family environment, the task of running a bustling small hotel is now shared by a half dozen members of the next generation. All are working hard to preserve their parents legacy. They work closely with the always friendly staff, to be happy hosts to you and to share everything you wish to know about this amazing community.
